Yoga Teacher, Vitalist Nutritionist, Iridologist, Massage Therapist

Bernadette began her journey in the alternative healthcare sector back in 2008. Always having a keen interest in natural methods of healing, she became aware of how perceptions of the self and of our role in our own healthcare inform so much about how we experience both health and disease.

First studying herbal medicine and nutrition with the School of Natural Health Sciences, she then embarked on an ITEC course in holistic massage, which gave her a deep awareness, interest and understanding of the energetics and physical nature of the human body. It was at this point Bernadette realised this was the path of her career, and began a four-year master medical herbalist practitioner course with The Irish School of Herbal Medicine. Bernadette has completed the first two years of this course, and has attained a diploma in iridology, vitalist nutrition and natural healing.

In August 2012, Bernadette received her certification to teach Yoga from Himalaya Yoga Valley. She teaches Yoga at their centre in Cork City, and at various other venues, and privately. She practices as an iridologist, vitalist nutritionist, yoga and meditation teacher and massage therapist and is available for consultations by appointment.
